Board of Education Meeting

High School Principal’s Report:

1) I have some great news regarding the 10^th grade WKCE test. Here is how we did compared to schools locally and in the state;

a. Reedsville 10^th grade = #1 in the Olympian Conference

b. Reedsville 10^th grade = #5 in CESA 7 (out of 42 schools)

c. Reedsville 10^th grade = #31 in the State (out of 465 schools).

Great job students and staff!

2) On Sunday, April 29^th, the Olympian Conference Art show will have an opening ceremony at noon at the Rahr West Art Museum in Manitowoc. Ten students from Reedsville High School will have their art on display at the museum. The art show runs through May 20^th.

3) Congratulations to Jazmin Solberg and Abby Borchardt who are the Valedictorians for the class of 2012. Also, congratulations to Courtney Kulas who is the salutatorian. Both valedictorians and salutatorians are selected after 7 semesters.

4) The Academic Banquet will be held on Wednesday, May 2^nd beginning at 7:00 PM. Please let me know if you will be attending so I can reserve a place for you at the head table. This year’s speaker will be Corey Geiger.

5) Graduation will be Friday, May 25^th beginning at 7:00 PM in the high school gym. I will need to know which board members will be distributing diplomas.
